This piece features flowers and flags from San Francisco, Los Angeles, California, Mexico, Iran, Sudan, Palestine as well as the trans flag. What about Native or indigenous flags? What is a flag in the context of colonialism? Also pictured are stars, connecting constellations, arrows and braids of grass. Thanks to the patron who purchased this piece, proceeds have been donated to the Sogorea Te land trust.
